Therapeutic community for families struggling with:
*RAD (Reactive Attachment Disorder)
*Challenging Behaviors
*Trauma and Adoption

A week of life-changing moments and
trust-building activities for families that have children struggling with RAD, challenging behaviors, early childhood trauma and adoption.
Family Bonding Programs
Our Family Bonding Programs have been developed and implemented for years, having had a successful trajectory dealing with children with challenging and violent behaviors, usually motivated by early childhood trauma. During the time, there have been several events per year, and though the process has changed and improved over time, the main goal and focus is to support and empower the parents to take back the lead of the family.

The program’s duration is a week. Through that time, a team of trained and experienced people will be there to assist and intervene in any kind of crisis that might take place. Usually our team is formed by people with a background related to the camp's focus (therapists, RAD parents, teachers, law enforcement workers, etc).
Our team will also offer different bonding activities under safe circumstances, so the damaged relationships among the family can start healing and the children can start trusting and respecting their parents.
We are trained and certified in crisis prevention intervention, for everyone's safety.
This is not a place for judgment, each parent can feel safe to share with us, and we will provide as much support as possible.
The program is designed to let the parents rest and recharge some energy, as well as giving them training and information so they can be confident to act when they are back home.
With the new skills acquired, we equip them so they can help their child not only start healing, but ultimately have a chance to actually thrive.
Keeping in mind the needs of the other family members, we provide a program specifically designed for the siblings of the challenging child. While we aim to empower the parents, it is clear that the other children at home need to know how to respond according to the different circumstances that might take place at home in order to feel safe and react in a resilient way.
That being said, our work doesn't end after camp; we offer weeks of follow-up meetings for the parents in a group support environment, so the families can stay in contact, ask questions, share, vent and support each other.
